Steve Daines

History and role

Steve joined Scientific Services in 2012. He began his career as a trainee asbestos bulk analyst and quickly achieved his P401. He want on to become a trained bulk analyst before gaining site experience as an asbestos airs analyst. He then went on to secure his P403 and P404 qualifications.

More recently Steve has gained the P402 qualification and completes asbestos surveys and has progressed to the position of Deputy Technical Manager. He manages our asbestos surveying and air testing services, and he is responsible for maintaining the company’s technical audit schedule. He also co-ordinates the technical training of new air test analysts and surveyors.

Personal interests

In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing music, eating out at local restaurants and spending time with his partner and two daughters.
