We are UKAS accredited to ISO: 17025: 2017 for the following testing activities: asbestos bulk analysis, air testing and four stage clearance services. This standard demonstrates our technical competence.
Our asbestos surveying activities are accredited to ISO: 17020: 2012. This standard specifies requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection. It demonstrates the impartiality and consistency of our inspection activities.
Scientific Services provides a wide range of environmental consultancy services. Some of these are not UKAS accredited but are covered by our ISO: 9001 accreditation. This certification assures our clients that we will deliver a quality service. We will meet their needs, along with our statutory and regulatory requirements.
RICE assesses our ability to count asbestos fibres. The scheme helps to ensure that we deliver accurate air test and four stage clearance results.
We have consistently held a ‘Good’ rating (the best possible score) since 2007.
AIMS is an external scheme managed by the health and safety laboratory. It assesses our ability to accurately identify asbestos in bulk samples.

SafeContractor is a contractor accreditation scheme that checks we meet the necessary requirements around health and safety, equal opportunities, diversity and environmental management practices. Our accreditation provides our clients with assurance that our practices meet accepted standards and reduces risks within their supply chain.
SSG Assessed is a health and safety certification scheme. Our accreditation to this standard helps to demonstrate our commitment to health and safety compliance. The scheme is a registered member of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP).
The Buy With Confidence scheme was put together by a partnership of Local Authority Trading Standards. The scheme provides consumers with a list of businesses which have given their commitment to trading fairly. We have undergone a series of detailed checks by professionally qualified Trading Standards staff to enable our approval as a member of the scheme.
